Go Royals!

We went to Kansas City yesterday and were able to take in a Royals game. Ok, not the whole thing because Skylar let us know we were keeping her up past her bed time. But, we still had a good time.

There was also some pool time for Emma and Bennett at the hotel. Time was made for some shopping as well. Mom took the three kids shopping at the mall while Dad was working. I can't say I would recommend shopping with three kids too often but... it could have been worse. Emma and Bennett were actually very helpful with Skylar. I think it probably also helped that we were shopping for them.

Field Day

Emma had her first field day this past Thursday. She had such a great time. Emma said her favorite event was the shoe kick. So much so she tried it at home and lost her shoe in the pokey bushes.

It was also time for new bikes this week. Bennett has grown 2 inches since January and he looked like a monster on his bike. Now his goal is to learn to ride his two wheeler. He didn't want training wheels so hopefully he will master it soon. He came a long way this weekend working with dad.

Beautiful Skylar!

Skylar got her 8 mo. pictures taken Friday and now we have to make a decision. We think it is going to be a tough one. The photographer did a fabulous job of capturing the true Sky baby. Here is the link if you want to check them out. http://alimocabeedesigns.smugmug.com/gallery/4899244_kTvCh#294809765_em6HW

Field Trip Week

This was the week for field trips. On Tuesday Bennett's preschool class went to the zoo. They had a great time. I now know why I am not a preschool teacher. Trying to keep 22 3-4yr olds from going 22 different directions is not easy.

We got to see the mama Wallaby with her baby in her pouch. The kids thought that was pretty cool.

Emma's first grade class had their end of the year picnic at Cico park. They walked from school all of the way to the park and back. They felt pretty special when a police officer stopped traffic so they could cross Seth Child.

Coming soon Skylar's 8 mo. pics & Emma's First field day!

We did it!

It was a good day for a run! A little cold but over all a good day. Mom and Dad ran in the Mercy Wild Run 10K and Emma and Bennett ran in the kids 1/4 mile Fun Run. It was held at Sunset Zoo. You can check out the results at http://www.letsgorun.com/

Skylar enjoyed her first experience in her swing this week. We have decided she is going to be our dare devil. She smiled and kicked her feet the entire time. Her brother and sister had fun taking turns pushing her.
Matt had to go to Tampa this week for work. He sent us this picture he took on his phone. After seeing this picture, Bennett, Emma, & I decided we want to go next time.
