We celebrated Skylar's first birthday yesterday. She had an absolutely wonderful day! You could just tell she knew it was her birthday. She did pretty well with her gifts. She did better opening the gifts from mom and dad without as big of an audience.
I was excited that she was able to wear the same outfit Emma wore on her 1st birthday.
For the first time I made and decorated the cake on my own. (However, I did have my mom on stand by just in case) It went really well and I think I am ready to do it again this week for Bennett's birthday.
Skylar didn't waste any time diving into her cake.
