We enjoyed the day off from school with at trip to the Oregon Trail Nature Park. We had a blast, the kids loved filling their bags with many different items they found along the trail. I didn't know you could actually really hike in Kansas but we sure did today. I got my workout in for the day especially with an extra 35 pounds on my back for half of it.
We kept saying we hoped the hard work of getting to the top of the Outlook was worth it. It only took a second to figure out that it was. So beautiful! The picture doesn't do it justice.
